She's a mysterious woman! From what I gather from all the info. below is that... Henrietta Charity Ritty was born a Roberts (DNA Proven). Not sure who the father is... no one is sharing that tidbit. Mother is unknown. She married James Crabtree, who killed a man, there for ran from Virginia and hid out in the hills of Pike County. He was never heard from again. Ritty came to Pike County Kentucky, where the Roberts, her kin, were living. James Crabtree and Ritty had two daughters, Susanna (1821) and Mary Polly (1824). After James disappeared, she started to have babies with James Roberts Jr. He was related to her, but not sure how... probably a cousin.... 1st, 2nd or 3rd. Not sure. They had James (1828), Nancy (1830), JOHN (1833), Elizabeth (1834), Wilson (1835), William (1838), Winna ?, Henry (1842) and Harvey (1844).
