A pesar de ello, es probable que, por el motivo que sea, no te llame mucho la atención el hecho de tener que compartir tus archivos con una compañí­a.Dropshare es un servicio (únicamente disponible para OS X, el sistema operativo de Apple) que tiene por objetivo ofrecer una herramienta con la que los usuarios puedan compartir sus archivos sin preocuparse por el hecho de subirlos a los servidores de una determinada empresa. Por ello, una vez hemos iniciado la herramienta, tenemos la opción de escoger como lugar de almacenamiento en la nube nuestro propio servidor, además de Amazon S3 y Rackspace Cloud Files.
