It's been very slow in the past week, and consume alot cpu for even small tasks. F-secure detected and quarantined Backdoor w32 rot (I think thats the name). I've used Ad-aware (detected 5 objects a few days ago),Avast! (no detection) SuperAntispyware (deleted several items), Malwarebytes (no detection) and finaly ComboFix -renamed after unable to install (2 objects found the first scan) The second scan ended without me seeing the result, and I find the log hard to understand. Thought it might have been updated since last time I used it (a few years ago). I noted on this forum that someone had a problem with the Emsisoft Emergency Kit not updating in Windows 10. I have used that program several times and never had it not update; it always updated fine. Noted that this was back in 2015; maybe the problem that was experienced was fixed by now.
