Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty now has a release date that has been announced at the Xbox Games Showcase alongside a new cinematic trailer. The DLC is scheduled to launch on September 26. The first in-engine footage has been revealed for Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty expansion which debuts Idris Elba's new character and a returning Keanu Reeves. It also gives us a deeper look at the late game of Night City, which sees V and a cast of new characters, attempt to find a way to save their life. As expected, the first new paid story DLC takes place before the end of the main storyline. Thankfully, there isn't long to wait for more Cyberpunk action. The base game launched back in late 2020 and has since been followed up by a wealth of patches and in-game content, as well as the popular Netflix Cyberpunk: Edgerunners anime series, too. It's awesome to see Johnny Silverhand back in action, and Idris Elba's presence is greatly appreciated in what promises to be the next big thing for one of the best RPGs around. You may likeDeath Stranding 2: On the Beach trailer confirms June release date and an even more harrowing post-apocalyptic worldRoboCop: Rogue City's new standalone expansion Unfinished Business announced at Nacon Connect 2025Cyberpunk 2077 has received a massive resurgence in popularity with the success of the anime and the many patches the game has received. However, seasoned fans have been waiting nearly three years for more high-quality story content. It's especially needed given the fact that the main story can be finished in around 25 hours if you're making a Beeline through. It's currently unknown exactly how long Phantom Liberty will be, but we're hopeful for at least a good 10 or so hours minimum. Having Johnny Silverhand return is a smart move from the development team as Keanu Reeves' character remains incredibly popular. His contributions to the story are absolutely instrumental, so more time spent with him, and presumably Rogue as well as other members of The Afterlife, is definitely going to be a hit. While E3 2023 isn't happening,

Phantom LibertyCDPRCDPR has a whole bunch invested into Cyberpunk 2077’s Phantom Liberty expansion, a mega-addition to the game that’s supposedly bigger (at least in budget) than even The Witcher 3’s sprawling DLCs.CDPR has repeatedly said that they will be showing off new information about Phantom Liberty in June (with hopefully release a few months later in 2023), but they’ve just announced the “Phantom Tour,” a community event where they will be touring the globe to show off the expansion directly to players at in-person events.Details are scarce, but we do at least have a list of cities that the Tour is coming to. There are eight in total: Warsaw, Poland Cologne, Germany Tokyo, Japan Beijing, China Seoul, South Korea Paris, France Sao Paulo, Brazil London, United KingdomYou will notice uh, one significant omission from this list, the United States of America. No American cities are on the tour. CDPR is based in Poland, so Europe certainly makes sense, but they’re doing three Asian cities including Beijing, but also Sao Paulo, Brazil. It’s not quite clear why the US has been excluded, though I suppose it’s not impossible more cities are added to the tour later. And I mean, Cyberpunk fans in the US are probably going to be buying Phantom Liberty regardless, in-person showcase or not.Given that we are supposed to be learning more about Phantom Liberty in June, and it is now June 2nd, hopefully we get a specific date and time for the showcase soon, and then hopefully.
