DLSS Swapper enables XeSS and FSR DLLS swapping Soon, NVIDIA will release new drivers and an update to its app that will allow users to override DLSS versions. Games that ship with older DLSS libraries and are not actively updated may be changed on a software/driver level with minimal effort. This soon-to-be-released feature essentially does what DLSS Swapper has been doing for a long time, and the tool has just been updated.Many may wonder why bother updating something that will be obsolete soon, but there’s an update to DLSS Swapper that should still make it useful and relevant. Contrary to what the name may suggest, DLSS Swapper now supports AMD FSR 3.1 and Intel XeSS libraries modifications. Gamers who wish to update the library to a newer version will be able to do so. The game received its first major update a day before its official launch, followed by another sizable patch on December 17. Now, a couple of months have passed, and update 3 has gone live, bringing NVIDIA DLSS 4 support for PC gamers, which boosts framerates, performance, and image quality. Those using supported NVIDIA hardware can now enable Multi-Frame Generation (3x, 4x) by using the new transformer-based model. Both DLAA and DLSS Super Resolution have also been updated to the transformer-based model. For AMD owners, update 3 adds support for AMD FSR 3.1 upscaling and frame generation technology, while Intel users can benefit from Intel XESS 1.4 upscaling.Today’s patch also features a quality of life update, as repair kits can now be used by selecting them directly from the inventory. For some players, this change is welcome since they previously had to select their broken weapon or tool in order to repair it. There were numerous bug fixes for the game, and the team said they are looking into adding support for other features, such as HUD modification and support for NVIDIA RTX hair.
