Junior Member Join Date: Oct 2006 Posts: 5 Hi,I just browsed through 15 pages of questions but couldnt find anything to solve my problem, which is the following:I just updated my winamp version to winamp-pro. As of that very moment, whenever I attempt to play a file, winamp shuts down with the following message:Winamp has ignored several errors and will be closed by windows. You will need to restart the program.I have already tried downloading the latest driect-x version, but that didn't help. I already downloaded the latest version of the driver for my videocard, which also didnt help.Any advise would be greatly appreciated.Thanks!Silvy Junior Member Join Date: Oct 2006 Posts: 5 I also ran DXDiag, earlier and everything checked out...so I assume this must be a winamp-thing as the hardware and soundsoftware all checks out... Click on the 5.30 link for direct downloads of Winamp.I would suggest updating with a full uninstall > reinstall (clean install) of Winamp. It didnt ask for my registration key though. Not sure if thats supposed to happen, but everything is now fine and dandy Though, I still dont really know what the problem was, because we used to have an older winamp version which worken fine.
