Valeu a pena.----------🇺🇸This movie has a scene where a clown does a getaway from being gunned down with a motorcycle after stealing drugs from a gang. Not only that, but… One of the best discoveries of the year so far. It's like a late-80's version of The Exterminator or Death Wish 3 but even more cheap and dirty, if that's possible. It's about an ex-military guy coming home to find his neighbourhood has been taken over by a gang called The Hammers, and he just immediately goes to war with them. It's only 80 minutes long and there seems to be a vicious ass-kicking every 5 minutes. Lean, mean and incredibly fun. Highly recommended. It's on YouTube. it's basically Death Wish 3 from the director of Action USA and every bit as problematic and ridiculous as that sounds - the newscaster who finishes the film claiming the gangs are gone also sounds far too much like Trump Everyone should have a friend like my friend Lou with whom they can reliably watch things like this with cause I would've prob never watched this on my own, but I had fun even tho this is absolutely one of the dumbest (possibly brain dead) versions of those movies where "Guy moves back to his old neighborhood and tries to clean the streets of the gang members that now run it and terrify everyone who lives there." However there are two (not just one-but TWO separate) bust a gut laughing, fall down funny scenes in this that somehow raise this from a one star movie to a two star one. There's a montage where our protagonist rigs a couple of… Fast and loose and sketchy af, this is like an 8-bit speedrun through an urban revenge/clean up the streets movie, with Richard Hatch singlehandedly beating the shit out of a huge Latino gang called The Hammers that’s taken over the LA neighborhood where he grew up and killed his father. Tasteless in the extreme but with an incredible soundtrack. It’s so briskly paced that the last 5-10 minutes feel like an eternity, and has one of the only hard work montages I know of where the work part consists of hurting people. Another entry into the ol' over-crowded "white dude returns home from the war, only to find his neighborhood taken over by gang members whereupon he cleans up shop" genre; they sure don't make 'em like this anymore.
