The answer is NO.Cheers. lpatter 1/3/2015 Reply Thanks. I will check it out later when I learn how to use ic6. But it works with the bullet engine. Bigboss 1/3/2015 Reply More good news...Once you have set the project engine to Bullet, you can 'Bake the animation of your iSoft Props and then reset the project to PhysX to use with other types of Physics props... :) lpatter 1/2/2015 Reply For my newly purchased iSoft Physics this is the error in IC6. It works with the Bullet engine but not the PHYSX is there anything to change that. I have not used them in IC5. This is the error message "The physics engine in the object is different from the physics in the project". You need to reset the physics for the object or change the physics engine in the project settings. I am using the IC6 default settings. PhysX Engine, Rigid Body ON soft Cloth ON. Bigboss 1/3/2015 Reply I did some tests and it is possible to use the PhysX engine with iSoft props but that means making a completely now product altogether. What you need to do is create a weightmap texture that mimics the 'Pinning' of each iSoft Softcloth (i.e. black dots for pins, white everywhere else), apply it to the prop and set the physX soft Cloth attributes to one of the provided presets (e.g. Denim, etc...) This is not trivial but is feasible.Hope this helps.Cheers! Bigboss 1/2/2015 Reply I will try and figure out the procedure for making them work in iC6. It should not take long... :) Gazzzzzzzz 12/20/2014 Reply HI BigBoss, how do I move your pack over to IC6? Bigboss 12/20/2014 Reply IC6 should be downwards compatible with all my packs. 2025-03-30Is your business in the 80% of companies where your fiscal year matches the calendar year? If so, please review the checklist below for info to start 2024 off smoothly, keeping in mind that iSOFT is available to answer questions.1. Until you close the fiscal year you won’t have beginning balances on the Balance Sheet for the next fiscal year. And, since there’s only a three-year posting window, if you get a whole year behind then you won’t be able to enter ANY transactions—which we see regularly from clients who aren’t actively using General Ledger in their installations. Yes, it’s true that once you’ve closed a fiscal period then the source transactions aren’t editable, but you can always post back. So don’t confuse “closing” the period with “Posting Period Restrictions.” And the final reason to close is so that you can then post back into The Magic 13th Period of the prior fiscal year and not obscure the operational financial performance of your actual 12th period.2. By far the best advice we can give is: MAKE A BACKUP OF THE COMPANY DATABASE AT THE END OF YOUR FISCAL YEAR!!!Even if you’re not closing the fiscal year, it’s invaluable to have that snapshot for validating the Balance Sheet since the “as of” reports in the system can be adversely affected by back-dated transactions. A backup is easy for your inhouse geek to do from inside the Microsoft SQL Server Management Console, or please contact iSOFT if you have questions.3.
