Thought maybe they had changed this as well. I have spent hours over all this stuff. I am seriously thinking of rather than upgrading my older iPad to an iPad Pro going to an Android tablet. But I really would appreciate help. Particularly I can see no way to transfer an Epub book (not purchased from Apple) that is on my PC and see it and read it in iBooks which is the Apple Ebook reader (isn't it)!!! I have downloaded the iCloud app onto my PC. the iCloud settings I see: iCloud Drive; Photos; Mail with Outlook; Bookmarks (for Firefox, Chrome etc...) No books anywhere that I could see. I did create a folder that I called Books and have 1 Epub book in it at the moment whose size is 1.47Mb. So I sorry but I am still confused, I cannot see an obvious link between iBooks on my iPad, iCloud (web and app) etc. I don't know why Apple took Books out of iTunes!!! I have to say this is not functionality and I am still struggling because Apple removed the Books function from iTunes in the latest update. The 2 Apple technicians I have spoken can't. I’ve seen anywhere from a couple of days to two weeks for the book to be approved. Once the book is approved, the yellow “light” is replaced with a green light.Confused yet? Remember that this was just a brief overview of iTunes Producer. In summary:• iTunes – Where you go to purchase music and/or books.• iTunesConnect – An internet website to upload your content.• iBookstore – The actual store to purchase eBooks.• iBooks – the software application to read the eBooks.• iTunes Producer – the software used to package and upload your book to the iBookStore. The *.itmsp file is going to be automatically saved in a folder called “PlayLists.” If you have to edit your book, you will need to open the iTunes Producer software and open that file.I hope this provides you with an overview of the pieces and parts that are necessary to publish your book at the iBookstore! With over 20 years of experience as a corporate computer trainer and consultant, Claudia now works with a Digital Private Press – Telemachus Press who have launched NovelHelp this year as an inexpensive solution.
