"}"> NX TETHER( not Live view tether) and Z5 Nov 6, 2021 3 NX Tether works fine with Z5.It is not Live tether view.I tried the USB-C connection to computer.The camera is detected quickly and settings displayed- the Mode button is greyed out and I had to change that on the camera dial( enable controls on camera body).uncheck the camera control button to change mode via the Nx tether .Nx Studio has a remote photography tab which loads up the Nx Tether.The capture photograph loads up in Nx Studio or another another application.NxTether and Nx studio combo is good, free, usable option. It is much less CPU hungry so better for older Macs(MBAir 2017).I tried the Adobe LR classic and the same setup gives me a Live tether capture. I will stick with that setup. C1 live view will only work when the camera monitor is displaying the viewfinder. While C1 will display the shutter speed on the camera, you must adjust the shutter speed on the camera. Zf network settings "Connect to computer" with connection type "Camera control". Images can be loaded into a Session "Capture folder" ("Hot Folder"). C1 does not see the camera but some controls are available through NX Tether.I wish C1 would rename and apply settings to the images as they show up in the folder. Better yet...
