Because that "bit version" will be the LAST version of TTS-1 DXi installed in that location (upstairs or down). Note that - either the 32-bit or 64-bit TTS-1, but NOT both, will be installed in that location (upstairs or down) no matter how many times or how many versions of Sonar you installed. Each new install/re-install of Sonar overwrites the previous TTS-1 DXi information - so that's why it is one or the other but not both (see link to old thread below if you WANT both). 3) If it's Cakewalk by Bandlab then it is ONLY 64-BIT TTS-1 DXi and that DXi will ONLY work with 64-BIT BIAB. And since it's a DXi and not a VSTi having JBridge or not having JBridge is moot. JBridge only works with VSTi's - so make sure you are RUNNING ONLY 64-BIAB at both locations if your TTS-1 is from Cakewalk by BandlabFor the semi-tech inclined if it truly is SONAR by Cakewalk (the "old" Sonar) then you can have both 32-bit and 64-bit TTS-1 "cake" and eat it too but you have to manually switch them back and forth as needed something here helps you track down the delta between upstairs and down. I just redirected it to my 64-bit plugin folder. I didn't check the install log, but when I load the plugin in Reaper, it appears to be 64-bit (i.e., it doesn't use the 32-bit bridge). I wasn't really looking for a sampler, but now I've installed both Poise and Grace, and might have some fun with them. __________________ Best Regards, Ernie "lunker" LundqvistBDSM (Bad Dog Studio Musicians)Windows 10 running on Z390 + i7-8700 Last edited by lunker; 12-12-2022 at 06:05 PM. 12-13-2022, 12:05 AM #6 Human being with feelings Join Date: Nov 2009 Location: Montreal, Canada Posts: 9,413 Quote: Originally Posted by lunker I agree this looks a little confusing. For me, the installer suggested putting the plugin in "Program Files (x86)\Common Files\VST2". Audio(mobile rig) thanks a lot for theses precisions about live 9! but are you sure? i found today a 64 bits version of live 9 and i was about to test it…then i’ll try to install the ezd 32 bits version! and see what happend with my 32 bits live 9 version!i will let you know! many thanks! Yes, host is audio software. OS is operating system (window 7/8 or other). If your host (Live, Cubase, pro Tools, Sonar, Reaper, et al) is 32-bit, you need to install and make sure the host’s plugin path is set to that 32-bit plugin.Same for using a 64-bit host. Make sure you are using the 64-bit version.Scott Sibley - ToontrackTechnical Advisor victory!!! think you so much guys!!i installed the 32 bits version and it works now!!thanks for the helping hand!! I may have similar problem so I am adding here, if it needs to be a different topic I apologize.I am running Windows 7 64bit SP1, had Pro Tools Express working with my EZDrummer and SD2.0. Will upgrade to EZD 2 when working. I changed DAW when I got a Presonus US1800 for my acoustic kit mic’s to Cubase 5LE and have upgrade to Cubase 7 but not installed it yet. With Cubase 5 LE I lost sound to monitor or hear my Yamaha DTXpress IV ekit. I can hear drums in EZDrummer from PC but can’t trigger the EZDrummer from my Yamaha DTXpress IV. I play through an M Audio Fast Track Pro still. I may have the same issues as above. What would you have me check in my installations of EZDrummer, SD2 to verify version installed? I may have the path as (86), so this may be my problem? Where in Cubase would I verify which bit I am running? Help, About tab maybe? Thanks @pgapro:the version number is displayed in the plugin interface. Check that and report back, both in Standalone and in Cubase.John Rammelt - ToontrackTechnical Advisor John, It was a bit issue of Cubase LE 5 is 32 bit and I was trying to use 64 bit VST Plugins.Comments

2025-03-25I just redirected it to my 64-bit plugin folder. For me it wants to install the plugin to the steinberg in the x86 directory. The rest of the stuff it wanted to put in appdata. When I look for it in reaper, it just doesn't find it. __________________ Slava Ukraini 12-13-2022, 12:22 AM #7 Human being with feelings Join Date: Nov 2009 Location: Montreal, Canada Posts: 9,413 Did you try installing it and running it? I am getting the same issue. It just is not found by reaper for me. I also found other reports online that the installer wasn't working. __________________ Slava Ukraini 12-13-2022, 12:29 AM #8 Human being with feelings Join Date: Dec 2012 Posts: 13,749 12-13-2022, 04:30 AM #9 Human being with feelings Join Date: Nov 2007 Location: Lucas, TX, USA (via Luleå, Sweden) Posts: 2,068 Quote: Originally Posted by Sound asleep For me it wants to install the plugin to the steinberg in the x86 directory.
