Sea of thieves leaks

Meticulously designed as Sea of Thieves. What I like from Rare's game is this cartoonish style and all the crazyness in it. The fact I can shoot myself out of the cannons, even eating bananas, hearing the machiavellian laughter of the skellies or having Megan as your pet following you.The strength of Sea of Thieves is to be able to create our own adventures and stories, meet other players and build friendships with them. The cooperative part and teamwork is what I love so much as well!I think Atlas will be more suitable for those who prefer PvP but I look forward to see how the gameplay will be!looks neat. if it makes sot devs try harder and gives them some ideas im for it haha. i dont see switching from sot though. its so fun and unique and what i want. A FEW THINGS I SAW THOUGH that would be great in sot were the boxing ive been askin for that haha and dual pistolsThis is a player made mod I'd guess? The animations alone are terrible and it looks like a game that's on par with Elder Scrolls Morrowind. Not that it was a bad game but it came out about 15 years ago. This won't come close to competing with Sea of Thieves. SoT has some things that bother folks but no one can deny that the game world is beautifully polished and that everything added fits the art style and overall feel of the game. And the foundation of the sandbox is solid.I couldn't play this game based on the ship model alone. It's cringeworthy. None of the elements seem cohesive at all. IF sea of thieves looked a little more like this it would be amazing as opposed to the cartoony style, both our good in their own ways..it was only a matter of time before a studio came along and did everything better than RARE. The actual gameplay on this will be the kicker, if its clunky like ark it will be a huge turn off, hopefully some competition gets RARE to step it up in lots of areas.Intriguing to say the leastLooks janky, and has a pretty uninteresting art

A bit more about it.Well it's good to have some competition! Some islands seem to look quite impressive but it's really far from the beauty of the Sea of Thieves.It looks like you will be able to build your own ship but how they float on the water is not meticulously designed as Sea of Thieves. It's great to see!Some people actually think this or Skull&Bones could be a threat to SoT? :DAtlas, assuming it is indeed a leak of some early concept stuff, looks interesting in scale and could be quite fun if it plays similar to Ark or Conan Exiles. However, the artstyle and technical quality can't hold a candle to Sea of Thieves, it's gonna be janky/clunky as hell and it's gonna be a very different genre. Ship building looks interesting, but it's probably going to require a lot of grinding, and persistent servers means that some dude is gonna destroy everything while you're at work.Skull & Bones looks extremely pretty and will bring the technical quality expected from Ubisoft. But that technical quality is all Ubisoft have going for them. Gameplay wise, most of their library is bland and unimaginative. S&B looks to be nothing more than a fancy third person MOBA with pirates, casualized and arcade to the max, most likely with a huge microtransaction and lootbox store. Now there might be a market for this kind of game, like there is for most Ubisoft games, but it's entirely different from Sea of Thieves target audience and genre wise, S&B is even more different to SoT than Atlas seems to be, since it looks like you're controlling an entire ship rather than one sailor and, well, it's a MOBA.Atlas and S&B might sipphon a few players from SoT. It's certainly a good thing that other devs are starting to pay attention to sailing and pirate themed games. But I don't think these two games will pose any meaningful competition to Sea of Thieves. Maybe in 2-3 years we can see a SoT killer on the horizon, but Rare has a massive headstart and Microsoft isn't exactly a small publisher.I think we'll be sailing the sea of thieves for quite a while. :)@katttruewalkerIndeed it is, so I don't quite get why some people seem to think that SoT is the first game of its type and everything else is just a ripoff.Although I'm afraid that colossal ships like ship of the lines won't work without the help of AI.
