نظرة عامةDetect and skip YouTube™ sponsor segments using AI.“This video was sponsored by…” SKIP.SkipSponsor is a lightweight extension that detects sponsor segments in YouTube videos using Natural Language Processing (NLP) and displays a button that allows you to skip over them.The detection is made by a Machine Learning model that was trained on the transcripts of over 300,000 videos, annotated by the crowd-sourced dataset SponsorBlock. It took me a while to figure out that was the extension that was causing it. I'm using AdGuard now, which isn't quite as good, but doesn't slow everything to a crawl. Of course I couldn't find anyone else that had that problem with Ublock, as usual, my problems always seem to be unique. Mouse navigation seems to work a bit weird on that page at least in my browser (because it's optimized for TVs) so I don't know how easy it'd be to add the sponsor spot report buttons, but the playback feature (skipping spots that are already reported) should work similar to the normal YouTube page.
