I began playing Super Mario RPG a few weeks ago and noticed it was a little glitchy. Then I came across this post: figured out why. Now I'm trying to find out if there's a way to transfer my saved game (in game) to a previous version of ZSNES (the post recommends v 1.42) or to another emulator. I was going to try to save an SRM file but couldn't figure out how to do so on ZSNES 1.51. I checked "SRAM Check+Save" in the "Saves" menu under "Configure" and set a file path in the "Paths" menu. This, however, did not create to .srm file in the specified location. I also searched the forum for a fix but couldn't find anything. I suspect there's something simple that I'm overlooking. In any case, I would appreciate any assistance with information on either (a.) a method to get the .srm file or (b.) transfer my saved gave. Thanks in advance!!**EDIT**A little more information:I'm using Windows 7 64-bitI tried installing ZSNES 1.42 and loading the .smc file, but my saved game was gone. When I loaded the same file from ZSNES 1.51, the saved game was there. Both parties could be forwarded and often the best you can get is TCP or nothing at all. Curious as to why it is so touchy... do some OSes, routers or ISPs mess with UDP packets in a way that stuff like bittorrent and certain games can deal with, but not zsnes? Maybe these people were born without that part of their brain that lets you try different things to see if they work better. --Retsupurae psychomantis81 New Member Posts: 4 Joined: Tue May 18, 2010 7:13 pm Re: Some more Hamachi Servers for ZSNES 1.42 Post by psychomantis81 » Wed May 26, 2010 11:34 pm Well these networks are for those people who choose to favor Hamachi over port forwarding manually.
